Participant Feedback

In this workshop, I feel very honored to have such a valuable opportunity to learn how to better manage the finances of our society. The workshop provided us with comprehensive financial management training, covering various aspects such as financial budgeting, income and expenditure management, financial reporting, and more. We are particularly grateful for the invitation of a professional expert to share and guide us, delving into the best practices of financial management.

The workshop had an energetic and interactive atmosphere that encouraged collaboration between the student committee members. Participants were able to share their insights and experiences planning similar activities. The workshop covered essential planning elements in a concise manner from a macro perspective to a micro one, equipping attendees with practical advice that they can apply to their own event. Overall, the workshop was fun and well designed to provide useful insights for attendees and remind them about their aspirations.

Session 2023-2024

The Group Facilitation Skills Workshop was full of interactive games that taught us how to be a good facilitator through experiential learning. I had hands-on experience in delivering one of the icebreaking games, which brought me useful knowledge about leadership.

Session 2023-2024

It was a beneficial workshop since the guest shared their professional experience and suggested some ideas that apply to the student societies. Throughout the workshop, the guest involved the participants by interacting with them and even encouraged the participants to hold games as if they were in an orientation camp. Overall, this workshop has given me insight into how to organize better orientation activities for freshmen.

Session 2023-2024
I think that the workshop provided me with opportunities to brainstorm ideas for icebreakers and gave me a great chance to demonstrate how to host an icebreaking session. The debriefing session was also very helpful. Going forward, it would be even better if the workshop could be scheduled earlier for Society ExCo members to register.
