I think that the workshop on Effective Orientation Activities Planning & Delivery provided me with opportunities to brainstorm ideas for icebreakers and gave me a great chance to demonstrate how to host an icebreaking session. The debriefing session was also very helpful. Going forward, it would be even better if the workshop could be scheduled earlier for Society ExCo members to register.

The workshop covered essential planning elements in a concise manner from a macro perspective to a micro one, equipping attendees with practical advice that they can apply to their own event. Overall, the workshop was fun and well designed to provide useful insights for attendees and remind them about their aspirations.

The Group Facilitation Skills Workshop was full of interactive games that taught us how to be a good facilitator through experiential learning. I had hands-on experience in delivering one of the icebreaking games, which brought me useful knowledge about leadership.

The workshop on Effective Orientation Activities Planning & delivery was beneficial since the guest shared their professional experience and suggested some ideas that apply to the student societies. Throughout the workshop, the guest involved the participants by interacting with them and even encouraged the participants to hold games as if they were in an orientation camp. Overall, this workshop has given me insight into how to organize better orientation activities for freshmen.
